The Macchia Romana Park operation is an urban redevelopment that consists of the creation of a park of about 3,000 square meters to serve an allotment nearing completion. The construction of the park is part of the urbanization works serving the Macchia Romana residential neighborhood of Potenza.

The park is designed to serve the families living in the adjacent complexes and includes, in addition to landscaping, areas dedicated to motor activity, games for children and dog-friendly areas.

A green lung that, thanks also to the planned pedestrian connection, will become an integral part of the Macchia Romana neighborhood, one of the most important residential neighborhoods in the city, located near the San Carlo Hospital and the University of Potenza.

The order has a total value of €1,051,605.29 and includes all urbanization activities in the area including connections to:

  • electricity network
  • gas network
  • telephone network
  • sewer
  • public lighting

The project was approved by the City Council by resolution 106 of 12/22/2011, within the area named C5/C6 of the P.R.G. of the City of Potenza.

The transaction is secured by personal surety of the partners.
