This is how the metaverse is changing business and investments
The metaverse is coming, it is a higher stage in the digitization process, it is the next frontier. Technological advances have brought this transformation of human society close enough to force us to begin to consider its consequences.

And the business world was not going to be any different, everyone recognizes that there is a lot of money to be made in that new world.

In the metaverse, a user can design a digital avatar, as if it were a video game character and in a short time we will be able to attend medical consultations, classes or any type of entertainment.

In recent weeks, some news has shown that this new trend is walking steadily among large technology companies and million-dollar investments, in order to position itself before the others.

Today, glimpses of the metaverse can be seen everywhere. Virtual concerts attract record audiences; high-end designers sell virtual fashion; and video games have become a way of life for people around the world.

For example, Travis Scott’s ‘Fortnite’ Concert Attracts Record 12 Million Viewers. In the fashion sector Inditex has partnered with South Korean fashion brand Ader Error to launch a clothing collection, which virtual replicas of the products can also be purchased on the Zepeto platform. And in the most fashionable real estate mix we have known that last week, Metaverse Group’s parent company, Token.com, announced that a “116 parcel estate in the heart of the Fashion Street district within Decentraland” sold for the equivalent of about $2.5 million — a record! The new owner of this estate near Fashion Street could presumably profit if Louis Vuitton wants to open a store there: They could effectively be the brand’s virtual landlord.

We also have the case of the 'play to earn' model that promises players money to play. One of the most successful examples is Axie, launched in October 2020, when its tokens were worth 10 cents; at the end of August this year they reached $ 75.

We could go through hundreds of other examples, but as a sample here you have The list of companies and industries that are already in the metaverse.

Of course, the same group that cries out against cryptocurrencies, the same people who said that social networks would come to nothing or that streaming would not end physical copies of music, now say that the metaverse is nothing more than a fad that will soon be forgotten.

A whole world of alternative investments is unfolding before our eyes ... and if you blink ... you miss it.
